"GPI successfully implemented Branch Management Excellence (BME) program in MBL, in which direction and training were provided to the branch banking network on preparing business plans and implementation thereof. It also included workshops and seminars for General Managers/ Regional Heads, Area Managers, Branch Managers and Sales Staff. This program aided Meezan Bank as a whole in defining a clear Retail Banking strategy on how to increase more avenues for business generation. Further, it shifted focus towards revenue, hence profitability. Under this program, several key MISs were implemented which enabled MBL to leverage the potential of its enormous customer base and vast branch network. These MISs included but not limited to Turn Over report, Product per Customer report, Deposit Vintage report so on and so forth. By the grace of Allah (SWT), we appreciate that this program helped MBL in reaching new heights of success and glory and we look forward to continuing working with GPI under the leadership of Mr. Salman Sarwar Butt."

"Salman and his team showed an understanding of our business need and performance culture. They did an in depth survey, met with the core teams across various cities, held meetings with all key departments and dug deep into your systems and reports to decipher our requirements Soneri Bank and GPI joined hands in 2018 to help the bank overcome certain growth impediments and improve our revenue stream. Chairman GPI Mr. Salman Sarwar Butt brought along his Banking acumen and deep understanding of the prevalent concerns in the Banking sector. Chairman GPI, Salman Sarwar Butt guided us in developing a new suite of MIS reports. These new reports namely Single view, PPC, Vintage etc. have not only helped us in identifying our weak links but have also directed us towards the huge potential that awaits us. GPI launched the Branch Transformation project in Karachi, Lahore & Islamabad. This was followed by 2 days Branch Transformation Training session with the entire populations of GMs, RHs and Branch Managers across various cities all over Pakistan. These sessions that lasted almost 2 months, helped in giving our Team the awareness about various revenue system comprising of ETB, NTB & Walk ins. They also developed their individual Branch Business Plans projecting their revenues based on these 3 business streams. These Business plans are still being used by us for comparisons with actual performance. Salman and his team facilitated us in determining the rightful allocations of our ETB portfolios which is the core focus of this project. The entire portfolio has since been tagged to BMs, RMs and BDOs as per balance brackets. They also helped in developing the Banks Contact Policy along with various other tools like Walk in Activation, Customer Profiling, Activity Sheets etc. GPI Team has aided us in implementing this Branch Transformation Project and are still mentoring us by being a part of our monthly reviews. It has been a remarkably learning experience and we are now looking forward to reaping the benefits of this herculean task we all undertook.
